Our journey through the Bestower of Fame storyline begins with A New God. After the events of the Master of All arc, peace doesn’t last for long as a new threat emerges within the Church of the Sacred Flame.
Joining forces with Sazantos, we travel to Flamesgrace to investigate a series of mysterious assassinations targeting church officials. What begins as a search for answers soon leads us beneath the Cathedral of Tytos, where hidden passages and unsettling discoveries hint that a dangerous new force is moving in the shadows.
Our investigation eventually takes us back to Emberglow, where we reunite with Rinyuu and follow the trail into Tytos’s abandoned laboratory. Deep within its forgotten chambers, we come face-to-face with Monaris the Monstrous, revealing that this new enemy is far more terrifying than anyone expected.
With the Church under attack and the mystery surrounding Black Scarlet only beginning to unfold, A New God opens one of the darkest chapters in our journey through Orsterra.
This is my first playthrough of Octopath Traveler 0, so we’re continuing completely blind and experiencing the story, characters, battles, and twists as they unfold.
