Our journey through the Bestower of Wealth storyline continues with Chapter 2: Fool’s Gold. With Bargello left fighting for his life, we join Pierro, Rosso, and Levina in a desperate race to track down Oskha the Have-Not before he can strike again.

A mysterious letter leads us to the desert city of Sufrataljah, where the people have been crushed beneath the rule of Lord Scarabe. To uncover Oskha’s plan, we infiltrate the heavily guarded palace, working with Bargello’s crew to break through its defenses and uncover the secrets hidden within its archives.

As we dig deeper, Lord Scarabe’s journal reveals clues about the mysterious Silver Spring, while the city erupts into chaos as the townspeople rise against their oppressors. Our search eventually leads to a confrontation with Judah the Believer, but Oskha slips away once again—leaving behind a chilling warning that changes everything.

With Bargello’s fate still uncertain and Oskha’s true motives becoming even more mysterious, Fool’s Gold raises the stakes for the Bestower of Wealth storyline and sets the stage for the battle still to come.

This is my first playthrough of Octopath Traveler 0, so we’re continuing completely blind and experiencing the story, characters, battles, and twists as they unfold.
