I’m Lvl 99, but still somehow not powerful enough to one-shot both phases. So I relied on turn order, money, and items.
Reason why I choose this setup is just because I want the first party to second party be spelled
OCTOPATH
Phase 1:
Core Strat:
1. Phase 1 is stuck like a moving train, if you broke all the souls, the eye will use its turn to try to heal. So you can buy time indefinitely until you broke the eye
2. Castti is the playmaker, she has to be first and the last so that she keep feeding concoct BP + maintain turn order with Whimsical so the party is always first
3. Osvald is one turn damage dealer (50k x 3 = 150k dmg), after that let him play utility.
4. Ochette and Throne can contribute Aeber for 99k dmg each.
5. Castti can finish with full Wind Concoct + Strength (33k x 4 = 126k dmg). Safe because the eye will used up a turn when recovering from broken. It will not attack.
6. Ochette is breaker using Dreadwing to clear souls or Scourge Glitch to break eyes (technically, Scourge glitch is not needed, it just make it faster)
7. Use Ancient Curse Talisman only once when the Eye is broken.
8. You can stack Aelfric to other characters using Throne’s talent + Reinforce Jam (not farmable)
Once the souls are absorbed by eye, the eye becomes extremely week. Broken eye will hit for 50k x 4 using Castti’s Wind Concoct.
Equip:
1. Castti uses Armmasters to equip all wind potency weapon + Battle-tested Staff, Fang of Ferocity, Elemental Augmentator.
2. Osvald uses Eye of Calamity, Stone of Truth, Lost Tribe’s Staff
Phase 2:
Core Strat:
1. Main idea is to use Temenos + Alephan’d Sacred Effulgence + E.ATK buff + Cursed Talisman debuff. If Temenos not ready, the other buy time or maintain buff/debuff
2. Ensure Agnea cast Wind Refrain so that party always first in the next turn
3. Ensure Agnea has Aelfric so she can cast Wind Refrain
4. Ensure Hikari uses Swordhold Hienka so he always does damage first and clean up last. Use Limb from Limb for damage output
5. If turn order is not correct, uses Partitio’s money to eat up Galdera’s turn
6. Preferred order: Agnea, Hikari, Partitio, Temenos (Temenos has to be the last), Agnea’s Aelfric, Hikari’s Hienka.
Nothing fancy with the equipment. Throw your best equip for Max SP + light potency + E.ATK to Temenos. Sacred Effulgence can also crits. Use Temenos Breaker Talent as opener.
