Our journey through the Bestower of All storyline continues with Chapter 5: The Gate of Finis. After the frozen ruins of Hornburg, the hunt for Sazantos enters its most dangerous stage yet as Rondo faces the Sacred Flame’s final trial and inherits the legendary Blue Flame.

With Rondo ready to carry the flame forward, we reunite with our allies at Castle Edoras, where King Solon and Lord Eltrix officially join our party before the final march begins. Together, we travel to the Hornburg Battle Ruins, where the legendary Gate of Finis finally opens before us, marking our return to one of the most iconic locations in the Octopath series.

Beyond the gate lies the haunting Corridors of Contrition, a twisted labyrinth of cursed memories, shifting pathways, and monstrous Fallen enemies standing between us and the truth hidden deep within Hell. Every step through its corrupted halls reminds us that the final confrontation with Sazantos is drawing ever closer.

With the Blue Flame rekindled and the path into Finis finally opened, The Gate of Finis sets the stage for the final chapters of Octopath Traveler 0.

This is my first playthrough of Octopath Traveler 0, so we’re continuing completely blind and experiencing the story, characters, battles, and twists as they unfold.
